crestron equipment being used in a courtroom

St. Louis, MO – CTI announced the award of the contract to supply the audiovisual systems for the new Mitchell County District courthouse, located in Osage, Iowa.

The new courthouse will have two District courtrooms and replaces the old courthouse that was originally built in 1858. The newly constructed facility, designed by FEH Associates, Inc. and built by Henkel Construction of Mason City, Iowa, will allow for new technology to accommodate the notable advances of courtroom systems in recent years.

CTI will provide a fully integrated AV system with audio reinforcement; including audio conferencing, assisted listening per ADA standards, and audio-visual control systems. In addition, evidence presentation through laptops and document cameras will be installed.

“The advancement of the AV technology to the new courthouse will help this District provide highly efficient and compliant technology to ensure the courtroom processes run seamlessly with these improvements,” says Adam Lofredo, Director of Court Technology for CTI

The Mitchell County courthouse is expected to be complete August of 2015 and can be followed here.
